Welcome to CookNet, a premium cooking and recipe-sharing social network. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

CookNet is intended for users aged 18 or older.
By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into this agreement.

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

2. Account Registration

An account is required to access premium features and participate as a creator.

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

  • Creators who wish to receive payouts must complete identity verification through a trusted third-party provider (such as Stripe).

  • CookNet does not store government-issued identity documents.

3. Content Posting

Users and creators may upload recipes, photos, videos, and other cooking-related content.

All content must:

  • Be original or properly licensed

  • Be respectful and lawful

  • Follow CookNet’s community guidelines

The following is prohibited:

  • Hate speech

  • Nudity or sexually explicit content

  • Harassment or abusive behavior

CookNet reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

CookNet uses Stripe and/or other supported payment providers to process payments.

Creators may earn revenue through:

  • Monthly subscriptions

  • Tips

  • Pay-per-recipe or premium content

Creators may receive up to 80% of revenue, depending on platform fees, payment processing costs, and applicable policies. Revenue share percentages may be updated over time.

5. Withdrawals & Payouts

  • Only verified creators may request payouts.

  • Payouts are processed via Stripe or alternative providers where Stripe is unavailable.

  • Payout requests are subject to review for fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

  • CookNet reserves the right to delay or deny payouts in cases of suspected misuse or violations.

6. Taxes

Creators are solely responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes on their earnings.
CookNet does not withhold or file taxes on behalf of creators but may provide earnings summaries.

7. User Conduct

All users must interact respectfully.

Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Spamming

  • Harassment

  • Inappropriate or abusive messaging

Users may block or report others. Violations may result in account restrictions or termination.

8. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time.

  • CookNet may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, community guidelines, or applicable laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

CookNet acts as a platform connecting users and creators and is not responsible for:

  • User-generated content

  • Financial outcomes or earnings

  • Technical errors, downtime, or service interruptions

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications.

11. Legal Jurisdiction

CookNet is operated by a company registered in Cyprus.
These Terms are governed by Cypriot and European Union law.
